In addition to loads of amusement, I picked up the concept of thinking 'fourth-dimensionally'. Our world is delightfully four-dimensional; time is the oft-missing dimension. Here, my travels through space and time, promising to be sometimes metaphysical and sometimes philosophical...most importantly, guaranteed to never be static--I can't seem to sit still in space OR type='text'>EURO 2008 in Amsterdam

Being a part of the Amsterdam community has been really fun the last few weeks, what with the hype around the EURO 2008 football (ahem, soccer!) competition. After a stellar win against favored Italy and a repeat performance against the not-so-favored-French team, the Dutch lost Saturday evening, 3-1 in a spellbinding overtime period. I wrote the attached blog (hosted at 'The Bloggers Guide' travel blog website) on Saturday afternoon after being told that I didn't exist by a Dutchman profoundly confused that I wasn't going to watch the game on tv that night. Check out my blog post ( <a the 2008 champs.
<img width='1' height='1' upgraded to FaceBook, and I must say I enjoy keeping in touch that way. Of course, most of the people I've met and known have fallen through the cracks, but nowadays every so often one of them comes back through the cracks via FaceBook. FaceBook brings the past back into my life, which I never would have predicted. When I left high school I didn't quite look back...I took a few best buds on the road with me and off we went! Social networking sites have brought the past screeching into the present, and into the future---I never dreamed of attending my ten-year reunion, but since I have FaceBook I know I'll be contacted and dragged into going if I'm on the right side of the Atlantic next June.
<span class="Apple-style-span" getting married in six weeks! Whatever it is, it's time to write again and this is where I'm going to do it...for now. It was really time that I start a blog...long overdue in
